Micro Nourish
Micro Nourish is the official chapter of the Southern California Branch of the American Society for Microbiology at Palos Verdes Peninsula High.

Maintaining an active quorum of more than 50 members, Micro Nourish educates children enrolled in after school programs about the impacts of healthy eating on wellbeing and organized Palos Verdes Peninsula High’s first competition team for the US Medical Olympiad.

Walk for Life Carnival
At the Walk for Life Carnival, Micro Nourish participates in a campus-wide cancer fundraising initiative that collectively raises more than $50,000 a year for organizations such as Cancer Support Community South Bay and the City of Hope.Â
Partners with Long Beach Rescue Mission
Micro Nourish collaborates with Long Beach Rescue Mission, serving warm meals to over 800 residents and community members.
